Washing cashmere - gentle & effective

How to keep your cashmere beautiful for a long time

Cashmere is a natural material and can be wonderfully cared for with a little care. Here's how to do it right:

Wash cashmere:

- Gently wash by hand or on a wool wash cycle (max. 30 °C and 400 rpm)

- Use our special Cashmere Care shampoo with lanolin - it cares for the fibers and maintains the softness

- Do not rub or wring when hand washing - only squeeze gently so that the fibers can unfold optimally

Cashmere Care Shampoo – Kaschmir-Pflegewaschmittel

Dry cashmere:

- After washing, gently pull the garment into shape and dry lying on a towel, never hang it up - this will keep it in shape and beautiful
- if necessary, smooth with a gentle blast of steam from the steam iron to smooth out creases and freshen up the fabric

Remove pilling:
- Simply gently remove small pills with a cashmere comb or razor

Store correctly:
- store folded, not hanging
- preferably airy or in cotton bags with lavender or cedar wood to prevent pest infestation
