The new Cashmere Care Laundry Bag from PAPA LOBSTER offers gentle protection for your most valuable items. The lightweight Laundry Bag made of 100% cotton was developed to treat delicate materials such as cashmere with particular care.
It is the ideal complement, especially for products such as our CAMILLE cashmere scarf: in the washing machine, the Laundry Bag reliably protects against friction and fiber damage and ensures particularly gentle cleaning.
But the Laundry Bag is not only a practical companion for washing. It is also ideal for storage or protection on the go, for example in a handbag or when traveling. Baby blankets or other fine knitted items can also be safely stored in it.

designed in Germany, handmade in Nepal. Our collections are made exclusively from 100% finest cashmere, which is sourced in Inner Mongolia and processed into high-quality products on traditional hand knitting machines in Nepal.
Decades of manufacturing expertise and the use of two-, four- and multi-thread yarns guarantee a high level of comfort and the longevity of each individual item.

"Cashmere for kids" is not a contradiction at PAPA LOBSTER, but a promise. Designed by two mothers, our products have been tried and tested on the playground, at the beach, when baking, painting and crafting and have been rated as particularly hard-wearing and easy-care: Dirt and liquids often simply roll off. And if you can't avoid washing it, simply put your PAPA LOBSTER knitwear in the washing machine (wool wash cycle + liquid wool detergent).
How to care for PAPA LOBSTER cashmere
Cashmere regenerates after every wash and retains its original shape thanks to the elastic recovery of the fibers. In addition, cashmere only forms its typical fluff when it is worn and washed, giving it its fluffy, cuddly soft character. So don't be afraid of regular washing, which makes our cashmere items more beautiful and cozier. PAPA LOBSTER recommends the following care instructions so that you and your children can enjoy your purchase for a long time:
Machine wash
Our PAPA LOBSTER products are 100% suitable for everyday use as they are absolutely easy to care for. Simply wash our cashmere cold or up to 30 degrees in the household washing machine at 400 rpm on the wool cycle with liquid wool detergent.
Hand wash
An alternative to the washing machine is a gentle hand wash in lukewarm water at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees with liquid wool detergent. The cashmere items should not be over-washed or left in the water for too long. Gentle immersion and light squeezing are sufficient to loosen dirt particles. The cashmere items should then be carefully rinsed with clear water.
Drying
Cashmere should never be put in the dryer or hung up to dry, otherwise it will lose its shape. PAPA LOBSTER therefore recommends laying the damp cashmere product flat on a towel or other absorbent surface to dry and gently pulling it into shape.
Ironing
When ironing, the steam iron should be run over the cashmere at a low temperature and without strong pressure. Gentle steam ironing after washing helps the cashmere pieces to regain their shape and, above all, allows the cashmere fibers to develop their typical fluffiness.
Pilling
It is natural for pilling, i.e. small pills, to form after a while due to wear and tear. These can simply be plucked off after washing or removed with a cashmere razor.

Delays
If some items are not available at short notice or the promised delivery time is delayed, you will be informed by e-mail.
Shipment split
If the waiting time is too long, we will automatically split the shipment, i.e. you will receive the available items and the delayed items will follow in a separate package. If we have your e-mail address,
we will inform you with a delivery confirmation that your order has been sent in several parcels.

Whether you machine wash your cashmere pieces or prefer to wash them by hand - PAPA LOBSTER cashmere detergent adapts effortlessly to your everyday life and keeps your favorite pieces soft and colorful for a long time.
Cashmere machine wash
- Select a wool or delicate wash program at a maximum of 30 °C and reduced spin speed
- Simply add 2 caps of Cashmere Care Shampoo to the machine.
This protects delicate cashmere fibers, while the detergent cleans deeply and moisturizes.
Cashmere hand wash
- Fill a basin or bowl with lukewarm water (up to 30 °C) and add 1 capful.
- Soak your cashmere item for 10-15 minutes and gently massage the shampoo into the fibers.
- After rinsing, gently squeeze out (do not wring!) to preserve the shape and softness for as long as possible.
