It is safest to machine wash in the special wool wash cycle at a maximum of 30 °C and a low spin speed of 400 rpm. Be sure to use a mild, liquid wool detergent or our moisturizing Cashmere Care shampoo to keep the fibres supple.
Pilling - the formation of small nodules - is a natural process in high-quality wool and not a quality defect. You can easily and gently remove this fluff with a special cashmere comb.
Spread your garment out flat and always run the comb over the affected areas with gentle pressure in one direction. This way, you can easily remove the loose nodules without damaging the healthy fibers.
If the sweater has become matted or shrunk due to heat, the fibers will unfortunately shrink permanently. Proper care is crucial to prevent this: never put it in the dryer and always dry it flat on a towel after washing.
Our styles have a classic fit. As knitwear is stretchy, it fits beautifully; check our size chart to find your perfect fit between XS and L.
To avoid losing shape, you should never hang up your sweaters. Instead, keep them neatly folded in a well-ventilated place.
Cashmere is a fine natural fiber that has a natural protective film of wool grease. Conventional detergents often contain aggressive surfactants or enzymes that attack this protection and dry out the fibers. Our shampoo is moisturizing and restores valuable lanolin to the fibres to keep them soft and cuddly.
Pilling is often caused by dry fibers and friction. The moisturizing formula of our shampoo smoothes the structure, keeps the fibres supple and thus reduces the formation of small pills.
